Dr. Diane Banic

Greetings! I am a Licensed Counseling Psychologist located in Simpsonville/Louisville, Kentucky. I believe mental health is a key to stability in our hectic lives. Seeking help can be one of the hardest steps to take in dealing with life issues. Congratulations on taking that step! I work with individuals who wish to unfold their potential. I use many different psychotherapeutic modalities and integrate them to fit the unique needs of each individual.

Everyone has unique life experiences, and each of us deserves an indiviualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we act as partners in your therapeutic journey. With open communication and respect, I will listen to you, challenge you, and support your journey.

My background is in Cognitive Behavioral therapy and somatically-based psychotherapy. I combine various modelities to treat anxiety/phobias, grief, relationship issues and complex traumas.

Individual goals are customized to the issues brought to therapy. In our first session, you will have the opportuity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I strive to create an warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing vulnerabilites while feeling secure. From there, we will work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
