Great to meet you!

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with more than 27 years of experience supporting mental health across a variety of settings throughout my career. I specialize in helping older adults navigate depression, trauma, anxiety, caregiving, and major life transitions. One of my favorite sayings is, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass... it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

My approach to therapy

Many older adults face everyday concerns and major life changes. You may be adjusting to retirement, managing a chronic health condition, coping with loss, caring for someone, or navigating financial pressures or a return to work. You may also be experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, or changes in relationships with adult children and grandchildren, all while adapting to a rapidly changing world. I take time to understand how these experiences affect you, and we’ll work together to identify support that feels meaningful and manageable.

What you can expect from me

As an older adult myself, I understand that aging can bring both joy and challenges. In therapy, I’ll walk alongside you as we explore what matters most, build on your strengths, and find resilience and meaning through life’s storms and rainbows. In our first session, you can expect a welcoming space to share what brings you in and what you hope for. We’ll begin at your pace, and you may even meet my dog, Zoey, whose presence often brings comfort and a little extra happiness.
