Great to meet you!

My purpose is to inspire and empower others by helping develop life skills and making the necessary changes to transform their lives. I received a Master of Science degree in counseling from the University of North Georgia in 200l. I found my passion eight years ago when I made a career change from higher education to mental health counseling. I earned a Ph.D. in Leadership for Higher Education with experience as a dean, academic advisor, student leader, and life coach.

My approach to therapy

Life Talk Counseling is a faith-based practice that uses evidenced-based therapeutic strategies and interventions that teach clients the skills necessary to navigate life’s obstacles. My approach is eclectic, incorporating Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment, Person-Centered Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Reality Therapy just to name a few.

What you can expect from me

If you are looking for a new sense of hope and a brighter outlook on life your new future could be one phone call away. Life Talk will assist you in doing the work needed to honestly address the issues that landed you in this current state of overwhelming emotions, unmet needs, and unrealized goals.
