Great to meet you!

Hello, it's such a pleasure to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Sex Therapist and Author, who specializes in helping individuals and couples heal, strengthen communication, rebuild trust, restore intimacy and emotionally reconnect with themselves and one another.

Over the past 15 years, I have worked with over 400 couples! I specialize in challenges around sex and intimacy, sexual dysfunctions, trauma, communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, life transitions and navigating infidelity.

Some of my clients have described me as real, direct, honest, while simultaneously being nurturing, grounding and empowering. I believe this comes from just being myself and creating spaces where clients feel both supported and challenged to evolve.

I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and was recently recognized by the United Nations Global Council as a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate in Behavioral Health, for my global contribution in the mental health field.

I am an advocate of emotionally healthy love and my mission is simple: to help people love better, by starting with themselves and understanding that they don't have to choose between healing & happiness, because they deserve both!

My approach to therapy

I simply meet clients where they are, but I never leave them there. My style is to gently challenge unhealthy patterns, invite accountability and help clients increase self-awareness. I am known for saying "you can't heal if you refuse to deal", so I use an honest and emotionally grounded approach to gently challenge patterns and belief systems that no longer serve my clients’ growth and increase the quality of their relationships.

I focus on relationship readiness, communication, trust restoration, intimacy healing, trauma-informed care and identity development. In sessions, I consider myself a guide who holds both compassion and truth, to help clients grieve what was, take responsibility for what is & create space for what can be.

What you can expect from me

In my first session, I provide an environment where clients can feel seen, respected, and understood. This will allow me to establish rapport and build trust, while gently guiding them towards clarity and accountability.

I focus on understanding their story, their relationship patterns, their goals and what healing truly looks like for them.

Typical early goals often include:

• Gaining clarity about personal and relational patterns, unhealthy cycles and emotional needs

• Establishing boundaries and personal responsibility

• Creating clear, healthy, realistic relationship goals

• Increasing self-awareness and emotional safety

My goal after the first session is for clients to leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived, supported, heard, encouraged, more centered & hopeful.
