Great to meet you!

If you're navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, or any of the many things that can weigh on you, you deserve a clinician who takes your history seriously and works with you — not around you. That's what I aim to be. I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience treating adolescents (12+) and adults, and I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Whether medication is part of the picture or not, my goal is to help you understand what's going on and find a path forward that fits your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence. I want to understand your full history — what you've tried, what worked, what didn't — before we make any decisions together. When medication is part of the plan, I'll explain why, what to expect, and how we'll monitor progress. When it isn't, we'll talk through other options that might help. I use validated tools like the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 so we can both track how you're doing. You'll see the same clinician every visit, so nothing gets lost in translation.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a real conversation. I'll ask about what's been going on, your history, any prior treatment, medical background, and what you'd like to be different. There's no pressure to make big decisions on Day 1. By the end of our visit, we'll have a shared understanding of what's happening and a starting plan you feel good about. Whether that includes medication or not, you'll leave with clear next steps and a sense of what to expect from working together.
