Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and trauma therapist with over 30 years of experience helping adults heal from childhood and adult trauma. I specialize in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a mind-body approach that integrates neuroscience, somatic awareness, and compassionate talk therapy. I work intuitively and holistically, supporting clients in emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth and healing through a gentle, trauma-informed lens. In addition to specializing in treatment of Complex Trauma, I am passionate about working with Women's Issues Across the Lifespan, Depression, Anxiety, Perinatal Mood Disorders, and including Spirituality in therapy. I am highly intuitive and believe we live in a coherent Universe that is for us.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative. I see myself as the expert in therapy but emphasize that what we focus on and how we proceed is always up to the client. I have been described as having a warm, calm and welcoming presence. My expertise is in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Somatic Therapy) and Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST). I was originally trained in Psychodynamic Therapy.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will review your history and define your goals for therapy. It is also a time to ask any questions you might have concerning how I work in therapy. The first three or so sessions are an opportunity to determine if we are a good fit, which is so important to the therapy process.
