Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m glad you made it here! My name is Diane (she/her) and I’m a Psychotherapist, Coach, and Social Worker. I'm honored to bear witness to your journey through life and healing. My hometown is Austin, Texas where I earned my Bachelor and Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas. In my free-time I can be found making jewelry, learning something new about bugs and insects, concocting my favorite Korean dishes, and working to build a vibrant community.

I specialize in working with those who have been impacted by intimate partner/gender-based violence, family trauma, difficult life-transitions, intergenerational trauma, and relational difficulties. I have extensive experience and am interested in working with those who hold marginalized identities of age, race, gender, sexuality, ability, and religion. I am passionate about walking alongside clients as they work to dismantle the role and impact of harmful power structures in their lives so that they may thrive and experience joy, ease, and euphoria in their identity.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in making more and more room for the things that can and cannot change. I hope to cultivate a space with clients full of possibility that is capacious enough to contain truths and realities that may have once felt impossible to hold. I'm there to offer a container where challenge and resource can meet such that you can navigate life in all its forms—from the most joyful and mundane to the mysterious and deeply challenging.

My work is grounded in deep understanding of and resistance to the oppressive systems that impact our inner lives, beliefs, and interactions. I work to concretely disrupt harmful internalized power structures and patterns so that our therapeutic relationship may uplift your healing and lead to radical change and self-care.

Below are treatment modalities and theories that I use in my therapeutic practice:

-Internal Family Systems (IFS)

-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

-Body-based

-Psychodynamic

-Relational

-Strengths-Based

-Culturally grounded and centered

-Trauma-Informed
