Great to meet you!

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia, and I bring both professional expertise and deeply personal experience to this work. As a 9/11 survivor, I know firsthand what it means to face trauma and find resilience on the other side. That experience led me to a career in nursing — including years as a hospice nurse — where I witnessed the profound impact mental health has on a person's overall wellbeing. Those experiences shaped my commitment to truly making a difference in people's lives. Outside of work, you'll find me gardening, traveling, or spending time with family — all reminders of why connection and healing matter so much to me.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, welcoming, and completely judgment-free. I believe you are an active partner in your own care, which means we build your treatment plan together — your voice, your goals, and your lived experience are central to everything we do. I place a strong emphasis on developing genuine rapport, because I've found that when people feel truly comfortable and heard, real progress becomes possible. Many of my clients tell me they feel at ease with me quickly, and that foundation of trust is what I build every session around.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other. I want to understand what's brought you here — whether that's feeling overwhelmed, weighed down by symptoms that feel debilitating, or carrying fears you haven't been able to name yet. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. I'll ask questions, listen closely, and work with you to start mapping out what support looks like for you. You can expect to leave feeling like you've been seen — not judged — and with a clearer sense of what working together could look like.
