Great to meet you!

With over 30 years of experience as a therapist, I have had the privilege of supporting clients in a wide range of settings, including crisis units, hospitals, and correctional environments. I am licensed in Florida and work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, life transitions, and other emotional challenges that can make it hard to feel grounded or hopeful. Over the years, I have seen how quickly life can change and how deeply those changes can affect mental health, relationships, and day-to-day functioning.

Those experiences have deepened my compassion and broadened my understanding of the many ways people struggle, heal, and grow. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel respected, understood, and empowered to move forward, even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and practical support. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest about what you are carrying without fear of judgment. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management concerns, grief, relationship issues, or a major life transition, I work collaboratively with you to better understand what is happening and identify meaningful steps forward.

I draw on decades of experience to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move through difficult seasons with greater clarity and resilience. My goal is not only to help you feel better in the moment, but to help you create lasting change that supports your emotional well-being over time.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward therapy can take real courage, and I want to honor that. In our first session, we will begin by talking about what brought you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope will feel different moving forward. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone in whatever you are facing. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and creating a path toward healing, growth, and greater well-being!
