Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Diane, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C) providing virtual therapy to adults across Texas. My clinical background includes oncology, reproductive and perinatal health, and supporting patients and families through complex medical experiences.

I work with adults navigating cancer, fertility, and oncofertility concerns, health changes, and caregiving demands. I also support healthcare professionals experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and the challenge of balancing demanding careers with their personal lives.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me balances space to process difficult experiences with practical work toward change. We will identify the thoughts, emotions, and patterns contributing to your distress and develop strategies to help you manage them.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, positive psychology, and strengths-based interventions. Our work may focus on developing coping tools, adapting to changes outside your control, making decisions aligned with your values, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on what feels most pressing—whether that is adjusting to a cancer diagnosis, coping with uncertainty, making fertility-related decisions, managing caregiving responsibilities, or experiencing burnout. We will explore how the situation is affecting your emotions, relationships, work, decision-making, and day-to-day life.

Before the session ends, we will identify your immediate priorities, establish one or two initial therapy goals, and discuss a practical next step for moving forward.
