Great to meet you!

In my over 25 years of counseling experience I have worked in a variety of settings in addition to Private Practice counseling. I have experience working in Hospice and have training and experience working with grief and bereavement as well as the emotional toll of chronic medical conditions. I have worked with adults individually, but also with couples navigating relationship issues. I enjoy assisting my clients through transitional periods in their lives as they move through changing circumstances, helping them find their sense of control when experiencing challenges.

My approach to therapy

I feel my clients are the experts on their own lives and I strive to understand their perspective before assuming I can assist them in navigating their circumstances. I am genuine and warm in my approach, understanding that the deeper work can only happen once trust is built.

What you can expect from me

It is an honor when clients trust me with their life story and current challenges. I work with them to reach their goals by gently encouraging alternate perspectives and helping them identify possible paths ahead utilizing their own strengths to navigate their life journey.
