Great to meet you!

My name is Dianna Allen, I am a licensed Professional Counselor. I have extensive experience working with codependency, setting boundaries, addiction and recovery, work-related struggles, and reducing stress and anxiety. My background and expertise focuses on attachment theory and how our relationships are impacted by attachment disruptions in life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is compassionate and holistic. I feel that anxiety, depression, stress, or addictive behaviors are symptoms that signal unmet needs (psychological and physical) and so encourage self-care and understanding of self in relation to others. I can guide you to see your strengths from a new perspective and help you build self-awareness and caring tools to help you heal.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients report feeling safe and relaxed by the end of our first meeting. They also gain insight into ways the past impacts their present, and how understanding themselves clearly and communicating to others with clarity positively impacts their lives. Many of my clients have learned healthy boundary-setting skills to help create more balance, day-to-day.
