Great to meet you!

I've spent over a decade working with people through some of the heaviest moments of their lives — depression that feels impossible to climb out of, trauma that keeps showing up no matter how much you try to move on, anxiety that makes everything feel harder than it should, and relationships that are falling apart. My clients are adults who are ready for a change and ready for something to shift. I bring a culturally aware, person-centered approach to every session, and I'm genuinely committed to meeting each person where they are — without assumptions, and without asking you to fit a mold.

My approach to therapy

While I pull from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused approaches, the framework always takes a back seat to the

person in front of me. Some clients need practical tools fast: ways to quiet the anxiety, manage difficult, overwhelming feelings, and function day-to-day. Others need slower, deeper work around trauma patterns and how their past shows up in their life now. We figure out what you need together. My approach is strength-based, helping you identify what skills you have that work well and further building on that.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a real conversation — I'll ask about what brought you in, what's been hard, and what you're hoping for. We'll start mapping out your goals together, and you'll have room to ask whether I'm the right fit. By the end, you should walk away with a clear sense of what working together will actually look like. I do my best to make this feel low-stakes — you're not committing to anything, and there are no wrong answers.
