Great to meet you!

I have been working in the field of Clinical Mental Health Counseling for the past 45 years after graduating from Syracuse University. During that time I have raised two adult children and 4 dogs at various times. I am a grandparent and dog owner; in my spare time I walk, meditate, involve myself in community activities and value the many friendships and family that surround my life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to develop a trust, assure you of my honesty and help you to identify what you would like to accomplish. I use an eclectic approach using solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques and will sometimes request you complete homework assignments.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to assist you in developing goals and look at the ways you may look at yourself, help you to establish boundaries and identify your feelings vs your beliefs.
