Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health and life challenges. My background spans both mental health and social services, which allows me to understand not just what you’re feeling, but also the real-life stressors that can impact your well-being day to day.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, and ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder), and I often support clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Whether you're navigating ongoing stress, struggling with focus and motivation, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, we can work together to make sense of what you're experiencing and create meaningful change.

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are, without pressure or judgment. My role is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply while helping you build the tools and confidence to move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in meeting you where you are. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I tailor our work based on your unique needs, goals, and experiences.

I balance insight-oriented work with practical strategies. That means we’ll spend time understanding patterns, emotions, and underlying factors, while also developing real-life tools you can use outside of sessions. I aim to make therapy both meaningful and actionable.

I also bring warmth, authenticity, and, when appropriate, a bit of humor into the space. Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. Creating a comfortable, human connection is an important part of the process.

My goal is to help you build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and feel more equipped to navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know each other and beginning to build a sense of comfort and trust. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life.

I’ll guide you through some initial questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and goals, but this won’t feel like an interrogation. You’re always in control of what you choose to share and at what pace.

We’ll also talk about how therapy works and what you can expect moving forward, so you leave the session with a clear sense of direction.

Most importantly, my intention is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. We’ll work through it together, step by step.
