Great to meet you!

I am a counseling psychologist earning a PhD at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, in 1999. You are encouraged to call me Dr. Dianne because the rest is too extra! Deeply rooted in psychodynamic theory, specifically object relations, I use cognitive and behavioral techniques to help shape behavior change. Unfortunately, insight isn't always enough to change problem behaviors. My 25 years working as a licensed psychologist are characterized by a clientele ranging from age 16 to geriatrics. I have extensive training and experience in psychological testing and neuropsychological evaluations.

My approach to therapy

My style is relaxed and collaborative. I like reciprocity in therapy sessions, and I will work as hard for you as you work for yourself in treatment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session, or intake as we call it, is typically longer than a therapy session. This is when I am trying hard to understand your problem and expectations from treatment, and if I can deliver you the best possible outcome. At the end of the intake session, we will have a plan moving forward that meets your treatment needs and schedule.
