Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in the public sector, supporting children, families, individuals, and veterans across school, healthcare, and community-based settings. I currently serve as a District Mental Health Provider, where I provide counseling, develop treatment plans, and collaborate closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support client well-being. My background also includes work in child welfare, hospital social work, long-term care, and veteran services, where I coordinated care and supported veterans and their families in accessing essential resources and maintaining independence.

My approach to therapy

In my clinical work, I use a collaborative, client-centered approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed strategies, strength-based, and solution-focused techniques. I focus on the whole life system of each client, helping individuals build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment in our first session, where building rapport and establishing trust are my top priorities. I focus on finding common ground and creating a space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences. Together, we will explore your concerns, identify your strengths, and begin to clarify your goals for treatment. I work collaboratively with clients to develop clear, realistic outcomes and a plan that supports meaningful progress, ensuring care is tailored to your unique needs and overall life circumstances.
