Hi, I’m Dieu Hang (pronounced “You-Hung”), a first-generation Vietnamese therapist passionate about helping people who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, social fears, grief, self-harm, or trauma. If you often feel stuck in your thoughts, disconnected from others, or like you’re carrying too much alone, I want you to know you're not too much, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I believe healing begins in the moments you feel truly seen and accepted, just as you are. Whether you're navigating the weight of the past or trying to make sense of big feelings in the present, therapy can be a place where things start to soften. You don’t have to be “fixed” to deserve care, you just have to show up. I'm here with you, and with my super buff emotional arms, I can help make things feel a little lighter.
I’ve worked with children and teens as a school and play therapist, using Child-Centered and Synergetic Play Therapy to gently support emotional expression, regulation, and healing. With teens and adults, I blend CBT, DBT, ACT, and Internal Family Systems, often weaving in art and somatic tools to help therapy feel creative, engaging, and personal. For clients working through trauma, I also integrate Cognitive Processing Therapy and Brainspotting. I believe healing happens in small, meaningful steps, like finding your voice, feeling safe in your body, or discovering a sense of hope.
While I do teach practical tools and strategies, real change tends to happen when we focus on the emotional roots beneath behaviors. As clients build a trusting relationship in therapy and show up with curiosity and effort, they often begin to experience meaningful shifts: more self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier patterns in their daily lives. Over time, this emotional growth often leads to behavioral changes that feel natural and lasting, because they’re coming from within.
