Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, and mood-related concerns. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.

I take a personalized approach to care, recognizing that mental health is influenced by many factors, including life experiences, relationships, work stress, sleep, physical health, and daily functioning. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their symptoms, identify treatment goals, and develop a plan that supports stability, clarity, and improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe psychiatric care should feel supportive rather than rushed or judgmental. I take time to listen, understand each client’s concerns, and explain treatment options clearly so clients can make informed decisions about their care.

When appropriate, I provide medication management along with supportive guidance, education, and practical strategies to help clients manage symptoms and improve daily functioning. I focus on building trust, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment as needed to support each client’s goals.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a thorough and supportive evaluation. We will discuss current symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, sleep, stressors, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. This session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions and share what they are hoping to improve.

After gathering information, I will discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps. If medication is appropriate, we will review the benefits, risks, and alternatives together. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, informed, and more confident about their care plan.
