Dr. Dihana Ruiz

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I've been a nurse since 2009 and a Nurse Practitioner since 2018, with experience in inpatient mental health and addiction treatment settings.

I specialize in complex mental health conditions and substance use disorders, and I bring both clinical expertise and compassion to every appointment. When we work together, we'll build a treatment plan around what matters most to you because you're the expert on your own life.

I believe care works best as a true partnership. I focus on creating a safe, patient-centered space where we address more than symptoms — working together to support emotional stability and a better quality of life. I use evidence-based medication management alongside brief supportive therapy to help you achieve lasting wellness.

Your first session is designed to be a collaborative and comfortable experience. We’ll take time to review your history, current concerns, and goals, so you feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll use shared decision-making to determine whether medication is appropriate and create a plan focused on stability and symptom relief.
