Great to meet you!

I focus my practice on providing a safe space for all clients to share their story as well as creating an environment that promotes collaboration and relationship building. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families that present with a variety of needs such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, ADHD, grief, and anger management.

I also have experience working with individuals experiencing difficulty with self-acceptance and identity issues. As an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, I strive to provide a safe space for all clients to be their true self and to be able to express their needs openly in an affirming environment.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approaches are based upon the needs of each client. I use person-centered, CBT, DBT, family systems, motivational interviewing, play therapy, recreational therapy, and expressive/art therapy. I admire the courage that it took to reach out in the next chapter of your story, and I hope to be a part of your journey.

What you can expect from me

During your first therapy session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a relationship grounded in trust, safety, and respect. You’ll have the opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work toward, and any concerns or experiences that feel important for me to understand. I’ll also explain my approach to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and discuss confidentiality and what you can expect from our work together. You are always in control of what you choose to share, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out right away. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward the changes that matter most to you.
