Great to meet you!

You don’t have to face your thoughts and emotions alone. A peaceful life is possible, regardless of your circumstances. We’re often troubled more by our perceptions than by reality itself. Sometimes, our thoughts—not our situation—are the scariest part. Even when life gets hard, how we see things shapes how we feel and how much we suffer.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I offer tools that are evidence-based and proven effective—both in research and in my own work with clients. By shifting our thoughts and behaviors, we can transform every part of our lives and relationships. We don’t have to be prisoners to unhelpful thoughts; we have ways to work through them.

CBT can help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, relationship struggles, and more. I’d be honored to support you in creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My work with CBT, CPT, and ACT is built on a strong foundation of research and proven results. I’ve trained extensively under experts in CPT and have co-trained other clinicians, which reinforces my confidence in these tools to help you create meaningful change.

What makes my approach unique is the integration of Islamic faith-based concepts. For those who find meaning in their faith, true healing comes when we align the mental, emotional, and spiritual self. Islamic perspectives help reframe suffering—not as punishment, but as a path to growth, purification, and drawing closer to the Divine. This shift often transforms therapy from simply managing symptoms into a journey of spiritual and personal development rooted in purpose.

I offer this integration especially for those who wish to include their faith in their healing journey. Your relationship with your faith is deeply personal, and I tailor my approach to what feels most meaningful to you—whether rooted in faith, family, or personal values.

My goal is to help you move toward inner peace as an achievable reality. Together, we’ll reshape unhelpful thoughts, process difficult experiences, and build a life aligned with your deepest values. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and respect for your unique journey.

What you can expect from me

The initial session is a two-way street built on mutual respect. I offer a calm, confidential space where you can share your story at your own pace. You are the expert on your life—your history, struggles, and what hasn’t worked. My role is to listen deeply and understand the patterns keeping you stuck.

In return, I’ll give you a clear picture of how I work. My foundation is in CBT and ACT—transparent approaches that help you know what to expect.

CBT offers practical tools to understand the link between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll gently question unhelpful thought patterns, break old cycles, and build healthier habits.

ACT shifts the focus from simply reducing distress to building a rich, meaningful life. You’ll learn to make room for difficult emotions with self-compassion, clarify your values, and take committed steps toward what truly matters—even in the presence of fear or discomfort.

Together, these approaches empower you with lasting skills to live with greater flexibility, resilience, and alignment with who you want to be. My goal is to help you move from being a passive observer of your struggles to an active participant in your healing.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, our first session will offer a space to be truly heard—and a clear path forward.
