Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dionne. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions, depression, self-worth issues, and emotional overwhelm.

My approach to therapy goes beyond simply managing symptoms. I believe many of our struggles are rooted in deeper core beliefs, attachment wounds, past experiences, and patterns we develop in order to survive difficult seasons of life. Together, we'll work to better understand those patterns, heal the underlying wounds, and help you reconnect with a stronger, healthier version of yourself. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and emotionally safe, without judgment or pressure to "have it all together."

Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and honest. I value authenticity and believe meaningful healing happens when people feel comfortable enough to be real. I use an integrative approach drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, attachment-based work, and deeper schema-core belief work depending on each client's individual needs and goals.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy relationship dynamics, disconnected from themselves, struggling with overthinking, people pleasing, anxiety, abandonment wounds, or difficulty navigating major life changes. my goal is to help you gain insight, build emotional resilience, develop healthier patterns, and create more pace and stability within your life and relationships. You do not have to carry everything alone. Healing is possible, and sometimes having the right support can make all the difference.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life's challenges. I work from a strengths-based perspective, helping clients identify patterns, build resilience and develop practical tools for lasting change.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions self-esteem, and personal growth. My goal is to help clients gain deeper insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life while honoring their unique values, experiences and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we begin getting to know one another. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I'll also ask questions about your background, relationships and personal history so I can better understand your experiences and the factors that may be impacting your well-being.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and determine whether we feel like a good fit. Together, we'll begin identifying goals for therapy and discuss ap lan that aligns with your needs and values. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported and hopeful about the path ahead.
