Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized mental health care. I believe that mental health treatment should be a collaborative process, and I strive to create a safe, judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood.

My approach is person-centered and evidence-based, with a focus on understanding the whole individual not just a diagnosis. I work with children and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health challenges.

Whether you’re looking to better understand what you’re experiencing, explore treatment options, or make meaningful changes in your life, I’m here to support you along the way. My goal is to help you feel empowered, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward feeling more like yourself again.

I look forward to getting to know you and partnering with you on your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

I take a compassionate, individualized, and collaborative approach to mental health care. I believe every person’s experiences, goals, and needs are unique, and treatment should reflect that. I strive to create a safe and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest.

My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with an understanding of the whole person. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their symptoms, identify treatment goals, and develop a plan that feels appropriate for their needs. When medication is part of treatment, I focus on education, shared decision-making, and ongoing monitoring to ensure care remains safe and effective.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and develop a better understanding of what brings you to treatment. We’ll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, and personal goals. I’ll take the time to listen without judgment and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll discuss your treatment options and develop an individualized plan based on your needs and goals. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, respected, and confident about the next steps in your care.
