Great to meet you!

My style is collaborative, straightforward, and grounded in helping you understand what’s really driving what you’re going through. I often work with people dealing with stress, pressure, and loneliness—especially when it looks like things are “fine” on the outside but feel overwhelming internally. I also have experience supporting people around substance use and questions of meaning, identity, or faith.

Together, we make sense of patterns and build practical strategies you can use in everyday life. Therapy with me is a space for honest reflection, skill-building, and developing a stronger sense of self-trust—so you can move forward with more clarity, stability, and intention.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I prioritize emotional safety and work at a pace that feels manageable for you. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I pay close attention to your lived experiences, strengths, and the context of your life.

I believe change happens when you feel genuinely understood and supported. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, identify helpful tools, and build skills that support lasting growth and resilience.

I support adults and seniors navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management challenges, including panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and sleep disorders. I work with individuals experiencing grief and bereavement, end of life issues, infertility, chronic conditions such as diabetes, and other health-related disabilities that impact emotional well-being. My practice also supports clients living with bipolar disorder (also known as manic depressive illness), attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD), eating disorders, alcohol and substance abuse concerns, anger management and impulse control difficulties, and complex family or relationship issues.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll help you get oriented to the therapy process, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel supported from the start. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important right now.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll take things one step at a time, moving at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and clear about what the next steps might look like.
