Great to meet you!

Hello! It’s a pleasure to meet you!

I'm a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor. I believe mental health is so important as physical health to keep in balance and harmony in life. Following healthy habits, you will find out how functional in all aspects of life you can be. In my 14 years providing counseling I have worked in several mental health settings between Puerto Rico, Texas and Arizona. I have facilitated individual, group, couple and family counseling mostly focusing on adaptive disorders, PTSD, interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, stress, alcohol/drug addictions and anger management in adults.

My approach to therapy

My approaches will depend on clients' needs. I propose an individualized treatment plan. In therapy, I guide clients to develop insight, identify stressors and find solutions by inviting them to practice effective strategies and/or techniques depending on their life situation.

What you can expect from me

In sessions I start with the initial assessment to collect your history and reason for counseling and continue with follow ups in a non-judgmental and trauma informed care way. I respect the diversity and individuality of every person by listening actively and developing empathy. Setting goals collaboratively and working through them will help you enjoy a better quality of life, confidence and safety. Therefore, I invite you to take this therapeutic journey patiently and with the determination to improve your overall health.
