Great to meet you!

’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been practicing since 2006. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adults, older adults, children, and individuals experiencing challenges related to alcohol and drug addiction. I also bring 27 years of experience working in nonprofit services, giving me a broad perspective on the many circumstances that can affect mental health and well-being.

For the past 18 years, I’ve served as a clinical supervisor, supporting associate marriage and family therapists and social workers as they work toward licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

I believe therapy should be a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. My goal is to help you build practical skills while also creating lasting, meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices. Together, we can identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns while developing greater awareness of your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in the present moment.

I believe therapy works best when we address both immediate concerns and the deeper patterns that may be contributing to them. My goal is to help clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward greater calm, confidence, self-compassion, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your goals, and the areas of your life where you would like to see change.

I’ll also begin learning about your background and the patterns or experiences that may be influencing how you’re feeling today. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and respected. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to develop an approach that feels appropriate and meaningful for you.
