Great to meet you!

I believe some of the most meaningful work in mental health begins when someone feels truly heard and understood. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing and feel like you have someone genuinely in your corner.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University, and I am board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My background includes working with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns in both crisis and inpatient psychiatric settings. These experiences have taught me the importance of looking beyond a diagnosis and taking the time to understand the person behind it—their experiences, challenges, goals, and what they want their life to look like.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with compassion, open communication, and shared decision-making. I believe the best treatment comes from listening, building trust, and making decisions together.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, difficulty concentrating, or simply feel like something has been off, we’ll work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and develop a treatment plan that feels realistic and personal to you.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and being honest about what is or isn’t working. My goal is for you to leave our appointments feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you to care, what you’ve been experiencing, your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. I want you to feel comfortable sharing at your own pace and asking questions along the way.

Together, we’ll discuss treatment options and develop a plan that makes sense for you. If medication is appropriate, I’ll explain the options, what to expect, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, with a better understanding of what may be going on and a clear idea of what our next steps will be.
