Great to meet you!
Anxiety at it's core is a critical part of being human, because it helps us stay safe. I love helping clients find healthier balances with their anxiety, so it works when it needs to, and takes a backseat when it is doing more harm than good. Anxiety is the majority of my current practice, but I spent the first 5 years as a therapist working at community agencies that specialized in child abuse and trauma. Because of this, I approach all work with a trauma informed lens, and I am well suited to work with survivors of significant trauma who are looking to address their symptoms through talk therapy (such as CPT, narrative therapy, or TF-CBT). I also have a lot of experience helping clients with primary concerns related to depression, grief, adoption, relationships, and stress.
