Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and support. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across foster care, school-based services, and inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing me to support a wide range of needs and levels of care.

I work with concerns including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma (including sexual trauma), behavioral challenges, adjustment-related stressors, and family conflict. I also support individuals transitioning from higher levels of care, helping them build stability, independence, and confidence in daily life.

I am especially passionate about helping individuals work through relationship challenges, including unhealthy patterns, communication difficulties, and healing from past relational wounds. I help clients develop self-awareness, strengthen boundaries, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections.

I prioritize creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where clients feel safe and understood. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s needs, with a balance of support and gentle challenge to promote meaningful growth and emotional well-being. I also take a culturally sensitive approach and, when desired, can incorporate a Christian, faith-informed perspective while always respecting each client’s values and beliefs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s needs. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship by creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood.

I draw from evidence-based practices to support emotional awareness, behavior change, and overall growth. I balance support with gentle challenge to help clients build insight while also developing practical skills they can use in daily life.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where we begin building a sense of trust and connection. I focus on helping clients feel comfortable while we explore what brought them to therapy and what they hope to gain from the process.

We will spend time discussing current concerns, relevant history, and any immediate needs or stressors. I also gather information to better understand each client’s background and experiences so that treatment can be tailored to their unique situation.

Together, we begin identifying initial goals for therapy, whether that includes improving emotional regulation, addressing symptoms of anxiety or depression, working through trauma, or navigating relationship or adjustment challenges. The goal is to create a shared direction for our work moving forward.

By the end of the first session, clients can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process, initial treatment goals, and a sense of whether the space feels like a good fit for them. My priority is to ensure clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable taking the next step in their healing process.
