Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Counseling Psychologist who works with adults of all ages to help them navigate life’s unexpected challenges. I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas and spent four years training within the Veterans Affairs (VA) system. My professional background includes specialized experience treating trauma and substance use, alongside anxiety, depression, grief, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Coming from a military family, I have a deep personal and professional commitment to serving the military and veteran population.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, inclusive, and deeply respectful of your unique life experiences. I specialize in meeting you where you are, ensuring that our work together honors your specific needs, personal values, and long-term goals. Because we all need support at times to regain our footing, I blend evidence-based strategies with compassionate care to help you process complex trauma, moral injury, substance use, and major life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment designed to prioritize your safety and comfort. We will focus on exploring your immediate concerns and begin setting personalized goals for your healing and growth. It is a true privilege to walk alongside you, and our initial time together will lay the foundation for achieving the sustainable quality of life you deserve.
