Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dominique, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and substance use. My background includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, where I’ve supported individuals through everything from crisis stabilization to long-term recovery.

I understand that reaching out for help isn’t always easy. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and not judged—no matter where you’re starting from. I work with adolescents and adults and focus on helping clients regain stability, clarity, and control over their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused. I take the time to really listen and understand what you’re experiencing, then work with you to create a plan that makes sense for your life.

I combine medication management (when appropriate) with practical strategies to help improve mood, reduce anxiety, and support daily functioning. I believe in being honest and direct while still being compassionate—so you’ll always know what I’m thinking clinically, but in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming.

Every person is different, so I tailor treatment to your specific needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about understanding you—your history, what’s been going on recently, and what you want to see change. We’ll talk through your symptoms, stressors, sleep, mood, and any past treatment experiences.

You can expect a calm, non-judgmental environment where you don’t have to have everything figured out. By the end of the session, we’ll typically have a clear plan in place, which may include treatment options, coping strategies, and next steps.

Most importantly, you’ll leave with a better understanding of what’s going on and a direction forward.
