Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and relationship challenges, and I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating life's many transitions. Whether you're struggling with persistent stress, panic attacks, low self-esteem, family conflict, behavioral concerns, or overwhelming emotions, my goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. As a Black woman, I value creating an inclusive, culturally responsive environment where every client feels respected and accepted. I believe healing begins with feeling safe enough to be your authentic self, and I'm here to walk alongside you as you build the skills and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique experiences. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building healthy coping strategies to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD symptoms, emotional regulation, stress, and relationship concerns. Every session is guided by your goals, allowing us to move at a pace that feels both comfortable and productive.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, open-minded, and compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of judgment. I believe meaningful change happens through trust, honesty, and consistent support, so I'll meet you with empathy while gently encouraging growth along the way. Whether we're working through a difficult season, strengthening relationships, or helping you build resilience for the future, my goal is to help you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence and hope.
