Great to meet you!

As a clinical social worker, I have worked with individuals, children, and families over the past 16 years. As an African American woman who was born and raised in the SE quadrant of Washington, DC, I understand the importance of working with client's on their terms. I have a very laid back approach in therapy that allows me to build rapport with clients while taking time to understand their life, individual journey, and goals. My passion is helping women journey through life on their own terms.

My approach to therapy

I believe in allowing people to be themselves and honoring each person's choices and lifestyle; as a clinician, I understand the importance of providing a space where people can journey through life on their own terms. I take this approach in my practice because it shows the level of respect and care I would want to receive as a client.

What you can expect from me

In my work with client's I pride myself of challenging thought processes, distorted views of thinking, and unhealthy patterns of behavior that may be unconscious. While challenging you to deep dip and process feelings and emotions I will also support, validate, and encourage you through your individual process. You will walk away knowing YOU GOT THIS!
