Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Dominique Pagano. I am a licensed clinical social worker with several years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and Millennials. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and treat a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, ADHD, parenting stress, and interpersonal difficulties.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a systems-based approach to therapy, which means I help to ensure we have addressed not only inner turmoil occurring for you, but also what is happening in your surroundings including in your family, workplace and community. We will discuss interpersonal relationships, work together to understand primary family dynamics and attachment styles, as well as account for additional stressors including work/school stress and other difficult life transitions.

What you can expect from our first session

I try to create a warm, non-judgmental environment to allow for the most healing experience possible. I believe the therapeutic alliance is the most important part of treatment and I will collaborate with you throughout the process in finding a treatment that works best for you. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties while developing solutions that fit into your life and building a strong foundation to get you feeling like you again.
