Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, thoughtful, and individualized mental health care. My background includes working with adults across a range of settings, and I have a particular interest in supporting individuals struggling with depression, grief, life transitions, and emotional changes following major medical events such as stroke. I understand that mental health symptoms can affect every part of a person’s life, including relationships, identity, motivation, and hope for the future. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they work toward healing and stability.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and person-centered. I am able to provided scripture based therapy. I believe in treating the whole person, not just symptoms. I work closely with clients to understand their emotional experiences, stressors, medical history, and personal goals so that care feels meaningful and tailored to their needs. I have a special focus on depression and grief and I recognize that these experiences can be deeply personal and at times overwhelming. I aim to provide care that is compassionate, practical, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. This may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and helping clients build coping strategies that promote emotional wellness and day-to-day functioning.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where they have space to share their concerns openly. We will talk about what has been going on, current symptoms, emotional challenges, relevant medical and mental health history, and what they hope to gain from treatment. I also take time to understand how symptoms may be affecting daily life, relationships, sleep, appetite, motivation, and overall well-being.
