Dominique Rodriguez

Dominique Rodriguez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#139851). She has about 9 years of experience working with children, teens, young adults and adults between 45 and 94 years old. She received her B.A. in Theatre Arts and became interested through work experience to become a therapist. Later, Dominique earned her M.S. in Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University. She has worked in community settings, elementary and high schools, residential inpatient treatment, crisis counseling and group private practices.

Dominique is passionate about helping those struggling with complex anxiety and trauma, relationship struggles, family dynamics, identity and faith-based issues. Dominique has also worked with individuals through their perinatal journey, career/work decisions and grief. Modalities Dominique utilizes include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Client-Centered, Creative Arts Therapy, Attachment-Based Counseling and faith-based approaches.

In the therapy session, Dominique strives to create an ambience of warmth and care. She knows that every individual has unique needs and desires for therapy, and Dominique tailors treatment to those needs. Hope, accountability and a direct approach will be present in sessions, helping clients feel supported and productive in reaching their goals.
