Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience providing psychiatric care to adults across a wide range of mental health needs. My professional background includes community mental health, substance use treatment, and outpatient psychiatric medication management.

My approach to therapy

My approach is centered on Thoughtful Prescribing. I take the time to understand the whole person before making decisions about medication. Psychiatric treatment should be more than matching symptoms to prescriptions. I consider your history, current concerns, goals, preferences, and past treatment experiences so we can make decisions together.

I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns.

Thoughtful Prescribing means using medication with a clear purpose. When medication is appropriate, I focus on finding the simplest effective treatment plan while considering benefits, side effects, interactions, and long-term goals.

My goal is to provide straightforward, evidence-based psychiatric care where you feel comfortable asking questions, understanding your options, and being involved in your treatment.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I focus on getting a clear understanding of what brings you in, your symptoms, treatment history, current medications, and what you hope to get out of care. My goal is to create a relaxed, collaborative environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and being involved in decisions. By the end of the visit, we will work toward a clear treatment plan with practical goals and next steps.
