Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Doneeka, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, grief, and those moments when life simply feels overwhelming or you feel stuck. I’m also certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and have a special interest in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and other major life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth—I want you to feel comfortable being yourself while we work together to build practical tools and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I meet you where you are, while also gently challenging you to recognize patterns, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools for change. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a focus on anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and women’s mental health.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to share your story, talk about what brings you to therapy, and learn more about me and my approach. I’ll create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll identify what you’d like to work on and develop goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
