Great to meet you!

I am the mom of four kids-three are adults and my youngest is a special needs teenager. I love the work I do, With every session I see evidence of the strength and resilience of the human spirit as my clients work to find solutions to the struggles which they come to therapy for. I think the most important thing I say to everyone I work with is that the solutions are already inside of YOU. I am here to guide, ask questions and cheer you on. Together we will find the solutions to whatever brings you to therapy.

My approach to therapy

I am a collaborative therapist. We work together, but you are the expert on your life. I will always look to you to determine our goals and the directions they may take us.

What you can expect from me

Primarily I hope to give you a sense of trust and encouragement. I will sometimes give homework in the form of a behavioral experiment during the week between sessions. This is done to encourage you to try out new ideas about how you manage a particular situation or behavior that you would like to find a more effective way to handle.
