Great to meet you!

You don’t have to be “fixed” before you begin therapy—you just have to be willing to take the first step. I’ve worked primarily with adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and life’s difficult transitions, including experience with veterans at the VA. I love meeting people where they are and being inspired by their words, their stories, and their capacity to heal. I’m passionate about helping you move toward a better quality of life, one step at a time.

My approach to therapy

I’m eclectic and person-centered, drawing from approaches that support both the mind and body. As an EMDR-credentialed therapist with experience in somatic work, I help you understand not only what you’re thinking and feeling, but also how experiences can live in the body. We’ll explore the past when it helps you understand the present, while focusing on creating meaningful change now. I believe “it’s not just about the journey, but learning to be fluent with the changes we make.” Therapy is about gaining insight, building skills, and learning how to carry that growth into your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a place to be heard, understood, and met exactly where you are. You don’t need to arrive with the right words or have everything figured out—we’ll start with what matters most to you and begin identifying where you want to go. I’ll listen to your story, learn what you’re hoping to change, and work with you to create a path forward that feels realistic and manageable. “We go baby steps forward”—because meaningful healing doesn’t have to happen all at once.
