Many moons ago, one summer evening I sat on my kitchen floor and started crying and it seemed like I was never going to stop. I wanted to avoid change at any cost, yet I could not tolerate the stress that framed each day. A good friend stepped in and both helped me find a therapist and enroll in college (a milestone I had missed in my teens / twenties.) Despite my fears, I followed up with both. Today, those fears are but distant memories, and now I pay it forward by supporting you. While I am happy to engage in talk therapy, I am highly trained to provide specific, short-term evidence-based interventions to treat OCD, anxiety disorders, and trauma / PTSD. These interventions can often provide relief as quickly as within 6 to 10 weeks. And if you are reading this now, please know that you are deserving of the peace that therapy can bring.
