Great to meet you!

It has been my life-long calling to help others on their journey towards becoming who they were created to be. I have over 30 years of non-professional counselor experience working with individuals and families before going back to school to get my license. I understand the impact of trauma on a person’s life; the things done or said to us by others can be a barrier to growing into and becoming our best selves. I have spent decades, locally and abroad, working with individuals and families in under-resourced areas. It is my desire for people to see themselves as more than the sum of their life circumstances and past hurts. I endeavor to provide a safe space where life issues can be worked through and individuals can find freedom and healing.

My approach to therapy

No two people are alike. The goal is to use the therapy that best fits what the client brings into the room. This can range from:

  • Solution-Focused
  • Cognitive Behavioral
  • Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Psychodynamic
  • Et Al

What you can expect from me

If a listening ear to help you find a solution or get to the bottom of what has been hurting you is needed, that is what you will find with me. If you are not sure what your are feeling, but need a safe place to get it out, I can provide that as well as we work toward finding relief and wholeness.
