Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Donnah Clark, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCCS) in Kentucky as well as a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC).

After over 13 years of experience in community mental health, I opened my private practice last year to continue supporting individuals on their paths to wellness.

Choosing to begin therapy is a powerful act of self-care and a testament to your courage and commitment to personal growth. Acknowledging your challenges and seeking a way to heal is a vital step, and I am truly honored to join you on this transformative journey.

In our work together, I am dedicated to creating a safe, judgment-free, and confidential space where you can freely explore your thoughts and emotions. My practice is rooted in deep empathy and compassion, ensuring that you always feel respected and heard.

I also bring specialized expertise in assessing and treating emerging serious mental illness, particularly with young adults and transition-age youth. This work focuses on recognizing early signs and creating tailored treatment plans to provide the support needed during these pivotal life stages.

My current practice focuses on supporting individuals as they navigate mood and anxiety disorders, develop effective stress management techniques, and work toward healing from various forms of trauma.

My approach to therapy

I provide a diverse array of professional guidance and clinically-backed therapeutic approaches, each carefully customized to align with your personal objectives and aspirations. Our partnership will involve uncovering the specific obstacles that might be slowing your growth, whether those challenges stem from previous hardships, modern-day pressures, or concerns about what lies ahead. My mission is to provide you with actionable strategies and profound insights, empowering you to handle the intricacies of life with enhanced strength and deeper self-perception.

In our collaborative sessions, we will focus on your natural resilience, identifying and strengthening the internal assets you already hold. This shared exploration is designed to nurture a more complete self-understanding, allowing you to leverage your own potential and develop a more confident, proactive perspective. Our therapeutic relationship is a living partnership in reaching your goals.

Above all, our collective goal is to build the vibrant future you desire and truly deserve. This path may lead to healthier connections, better emotional balance, lowered levels of stress, or a more profound sense of personal meaning. No matter what your dreams may be, I am honored to walk beside you, offering support and marking every milestone as you move toward a more rewarding and authentic existence.

What you can expect from me

Ultimately, my primary mission is to ensure you obtain from our sessions with a renewed sense of optimism and actionable tools to facilitate your healing and overall well-being. I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and personal development, helping you build a robust framework for enduring, constructive transformation in your healing journey.
