Great to meet you!

Life can feel exhausting when you're carrying more than anyone else realizes. You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, pressure to stay strong, relationship challenges, or questions about your identity while feeling like there's no space to simply be yourself. You don't have to face those experiences alone. Therapy can be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I provide virtual therapy for adolescents, adults, seniors, children, and families throughout Mississippi, helping people navigate anxiety, depression, men's issues, and cultural and ethnic concerns while also supporting ADHD, trauma, OCD, anger management, relationship challenges, family stress, and life transitions that often become part of the same journey. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you can reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and move toward the life you want to build.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most meaningful when you feel understood before you feel challenged. Together, we'll explore the experiences, relationships, thoughts, and emotions that have shaped your story while building practical strategies that support lasting growth. You may have come to therapy because of anxiety, depression, men's issues, or challenges related to your cultural identity, only to realize those experiences are influencing your relationships, confidence, family life, and ability to manage everyday stress. ADHD, trauma, OCD, anger, and major life transitions can also become part of that story. Rather than treating each concern separately, we'll work to understand how they're connected so we can create meaningful change that supports your whole wellbeing. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, Cognitive Processing Therapy to process difficult experiences, Behavioral Activation to reconnect with meaningful activities, Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy when working with families, Motivational Interviewing to strengthen lasting change, and mindfulness based and solution focused techniques that provide practical tools you can continue using outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy doesn't require you to have all the answers. During our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand your story, explore the challenges that matter most to you, and create goals that reflect what you want your life to look like moving forward. As we continue working together, you'll have a space where you can speak honestly, ask difficult questions, celebrate progress, and work through setbacks without fear of judgment. I'll meet you with authenticity, compassion, and respect while encouraging you to recognize the resilience you already have within you. My hope is that you'll leave therapy feeling more confident, more connected to yourself and the people around you, and reminded that you don't have to carry life's challenges alone.
