Great to meet you!
Welcome. Taking the step to seek professional support is an act of profound courage and self-compassion.
Practicing as a licensed marriage and family therapist and serving as a college professor for 18 years has and continues to remain my mission to provide an empowering, deeply supportive space where you can reconnect with your inner strengths. In my practice, I partner with adults, couples, and families, as well as clinical associates navigating the demands of the mental health profession.
My Clinical Background & Strengths
- My career is deeply tied to adequate and appropriate access to mental health services and resources impacting quality of daily living. As both a licensed mental health professional and retired professor of counselor education, my combined provider and teaching experiences continue to directly inform my practice. I take complex psychological and neurobiological concepts and translate them into practical, mindful tools for daily life. My treatment areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship dynamics, and mood disorders. Working collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families to foster growth and facilitate change, my strengths lie in providing a safe harbor during life's most disorienting storms.
If you are looking for a collaborative, mindful approach to healing and growth, please reach out to schedule an initial consultation.
