Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Donyell Davis and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lakes University. I have 14 years of experience in the social work field working with diverse populations. My clients often describe me as empathetic, compassionate, and attentive. I pride myself on being an open-minded lifelong learner with a keen interest in evidence-based practice interventions.

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address a wide range of psychological issues. CBT helps recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. My goal is to collaborate with patients on a treatment strategy tailored to their current life circumstances. By the end of treatment, patients are empowered with practical skills to independently navigate life challenges beyond therapy sessions.

What you can expect from me

My main goals for my clients include reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, improving overall well-being, and promoting personal growth and resilience. By the end of our work together, you will be equipped with coping skills and resilience to navigate challenges independently, as well as the insight to seek professional collaboration when necessary, knowing there’s a therapist ready to support you.
