Great to meet you!

I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). My background includes caring for patients in both hospital medicine and psychiatry, which taught me how closely emotional health, stress, medical conditions, and daily life all connect.

I was drawn to psychiatry because people deserve a place where they are truly listened to and supported — not rushed or judged. I work with adolescents (12+) and adults, and I treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and insomnia.

My goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate care and to help you feel more stable, confident, and hopeful about your life again.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I take time to understand your story — your stressors, strengths, family dynamics, sleep, medical history, and daily routines — because all of these influence mental health.

Treatment may include careful medication management, supportive therapy, coping-skills coaching, and lifestyle recommendations. When medication is used, I prescribe thoughtfully and explain options clearly so you can make informed choices.

We move at a pace that feels safe, respectful, and realistic. Your goals always guide our plan.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is relaxed and conversational. We’ll talk through your symptoms, past treatment experiences, medical history, stressors, and what you’re hoping will change. I listen closely, ask clarifying questions, and work with you to begin understanding what may be contributing to how you feel.

Before we finish, we discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options — including therapy strategies, lifestyle supports, and medication when appropriate.

My goal is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clear plan — not overwhelmed or rushed.
