Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents and adults. I have 13 years of mental health experience, with over 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Molloy College, along with an Associate Degree in Nursing, earned with honors, from Farmingdale State College, and a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Cape Coast.

My approach to therapy

I take a patient-centered and holistic approach to care, combining thorough psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy. I believe that mental health treatment is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. I utilize evidence-based tools and clinical best practices to guide treatment decisions while tailoring care to each person’s needs.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming and supportive space where we focus on getting to know you. We will discuss what brought you in, your current concerns, symptoms, and goals for treatment. I will also ask about your mental health history, medical background, and any previous treatments to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs.

This initial visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, and together we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan. This may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both, depending on what is most appropriate for you.

There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions, share your concerns, and discuss your preferences. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and comfortable every step of the way.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your symptoms, initial recommendations, and next steps toward your care and wellness journey.
