Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual (Spanish/English, spanglish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York with over 10 years of experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan from newborns to older adults and from various cultural backgrounds. Throughout my career, I’ve supported clients through a wide range of life experiences, including parenting challenges, family transitions, adjustment to life changes, emotional stress, and personal growth.

I aim to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to meet each client where they are, while helping them build practical tools and strategies that support their overall well-being and personal goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to support you in processing the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that may no longer be serving you.

I also believe therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to better understand what is not working, identify meaningful changes, and explore tools that can support your well-being both inside and outside of sessions.

I approach clients with curiosity and compassion, often asking questions like, “What happened?” or “How did you get to feeling this way?” My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences openly and honestly.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, you can expect to be welcomed into a supportive and safe virtual space where you are encouraged to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the experience. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected as we begin building a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

You can also expect some humor and occasional pop-culture references throughout our conversations, balanced with thoughtful reflection and emotional support. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
